Solomon went to Ezion-Geber and Eloth, two Edomite towns on the Red Sea.
Jehoshaphat had seagoing ships built to sail to Ophir for gold. But they were wrecked at Ezion-Geber and never sailed.
Azariah was the one who later recaptured and rebuilt the town of Elath.
