The LORD was kind to Hannah, and she had three more sons and two daughters. But Samuel grew up at the LORD's house in Shiloh.

Children are a blessing and a gift from the LORD.

God and people will like you and consider you a success.

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel! He has come to save his people.

As John grew up, God's Spirit gave him great power. John lived in the desert until the time he was sent to the people of Israel.

The child Jesus grew. He became strong and wise, and God blessed him.

Jesus became wise, and he grew strong. God was pleased with him and so were the people.

Later, Manoah's wife did give birth to a son, and she named him Samson. As the boy grew, the LORD blessed him.

Each day the LORD and his people liked Samuel more and more.

As Samuel grew up, the LORD helped him and made everything Samuel said come true.
