When the Scriptures say that he will put everything under his power, they don't include God. It was God who put everything under the power of Christ.

You let us rule everything your hands have made. And you put all of it under our power--

He was crowned king and given power and glory, so that all people of every nation and race would serve him. He will rule forever, and his kingdom is eternal, never to be destroyed.

My Father has given me everything, and he is the only one who knows the Son. The only one who truly knows the Father is the Son. But the Son wants to tell others about the Father, so that they can know him too.

Jesus came to them and said: I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth!

Jesus knew that he had come from God and would go back to God. He also knew that the Father had given him complete power.

And you have put everything under our power!" God has put everything under our power and has not left anything out of our power. But we still don't see it all under our power.

Christ is now in heaven, where he sits at the right side of God. All angels, authorities, and powers are under his control.
