God brought him out of Egypt; he is like  the horns of a wild ox for them. He will feed on enemy nations and gnaw their bones; he will strike them with his arrows.

Israel is a stray lamb, chased by lions. The first who devoured him was the king of Assyria; the last who crushed his bones was King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.

A people rise up like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion. They will not lie down until they devour the prey and drink the blood of the slain.

God brought them out of Egypt; he is like the horns of a wild ox for them.  ,

Only don’t rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them.  Their protection  has been removed from them, and the Lord is with us. Don’t be afraid of them! ”

The people spoke against God and Moses: “Why have you led us up from Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread or water, and we detest this wretched food! ”

He stayed there until Herod’s death, so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled: Out of Egypt I called my Son.   ,

For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt,  and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings you completely destroyed  across the Jordan.

But if you will carefully obey him and do everything I say, then I will be an enemy  to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
