Numbers 14:19

Please pardon the iniquity of this people, in keeping with the greatness of your faithful love,  just as you have forgiven them from Egypt until now.”

Then he said, “My Lord, if I have indeed found favor with you, my Lord, please go with us (even though this is a stiff-necked people), forgive our iniquity and our sin, and accept us as your own possession.”

Now if you would only forgive their sin. But if not, please erase me from the book you have written.”

The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.

He prayed to the Lord,  “Please, Lord, isn’t this what I said while I was still in my own country? That’s why I fled toward Tarshish in the first place.  I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God,  slow to anger, abounding in faithful love, and one who relents from sending disaster.

God saw their actions #— #that they had turned from their evil ways   #— #so God relented from the disaster  he had threatened them with. And he did not do it.

Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and act! My God, for your own sake, do not delay,  because your city and your people bear your name.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the  Lord, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.

may you hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel. May you restore them to the land you gave their ancestors.

The Lord answered Moses, “I will do this very thing you have asked, for you have found favor with me, and I know you by name.”

He considers no disaster for Jacob; he sees no trouble for Israel. The Lord their God is with them, and there is rejoicing over the King among them.

Lord, I have heard the report about you; Lord, I stand in awe of your deeds. Revive your work in these years; make it known in these years. In your wrath remember mercy!

When the locusts finished eating the vegetation of the land,  I said, “Lord God, please forgive!  How will Jacob survive since he is so small? ”

Then I said, “Lord God, please stop!  How will Jacob survive since he is so small? ”
