Moses heard the people, family after family, weeping at the entrance of their tents. The Lord was very angry;  Moses was also provoked.

When Jesus saw it, he was indignant  and said to them, “Let the little children come to me.   Don’t stop   them, because the kingdom of God   belongs to such as these.

After looking around at them with anger,  he was grieved at the hardness  of their hearts and told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

You will, on your own, relinquish your inheritance that I gave you. I will make you serve your enemies in a land you do not know, for you have set my anger on fire; it will burn forever.

Therefore the Lord’s anger burned  against his people. He raised his hand against them and struck them; the mountains quaked, and their corpses were like garbage in the streets. In all this, his anger has not turned away, and his hand is still raised to strike.

For fire has been kindled because of my anger and burns to the depths of Sheol; it devours the land and its produce, and scorches the foundations of the mountains.

The people spoke against God and Moses: “Why have you led us up from Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread or water, and we detest this wretched food! ”

So they got away from the dwellings of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Meanwhile, Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrance of their tents with their wives, children, and infants.

Moses was a very humble man, more so than anyone on the face of the earth.

Now the people began complaining openly before  the Lord about hardship. When the Lord heard, his anger burned,  and fire  from the Lord blazed among them and consumed the outskirts of the camp.

When the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna would fall with it.

So Moses asked the Lord, “Why have you brought such trouble on your servant? Why are you angry with me,  and why do you burden me with all these people?

The Lord’s anger burned against them,  and he left.
