Blessed is the one who endures trials, because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown  of life that God  has promised to those who love him.

For our momentary light affliction  is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.

Then looking up at his disciples, he said: Blessed are you who are poor, because the kingdom of God is yours.

When they persecute you in one town, flee to another.   For truly I tell you, you will not have gone through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

unlike Cain,  who was of the evil one  and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.

Saul agreed with putting him to death. On that day a severe persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout the land of Judea and Samaria.

Jesus said, “Leave the little children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to me, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”   ,

When Jesus saw it, he was indignant  and said to them, “Let the little children come to me.   Don’t stop   them, because the kingdom of God   belongs to such as these.

I bestow on you a kingdom,   just as my Father bestowed one on me,

See, we count as blessed those who have endured.  You have heard of Job’s endurance  and have seen the outcome that the Lord brought about #— #the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
