Then the news about him spread throughout Syria.  So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics.  And he healed them.

For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under my command.  I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this! ’ and he does it.”

After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two  others, and he sent them ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he himself was about to go.
