Luke 4:16

He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up.  As usual, he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day  and stood up to read.

As usual, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

Then he went and settled in a town called Nazareth to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets, that he would be called a Nazarene.

Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them. His mother kept all these things in her heart.

When he was twelve years old, they went up according to the custom of the festival.

“I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus answered him. “I have always taught in the synagogue   and in the temple,   where all the Jews gather, and I haven’t spoken anything in secret.

He began by saying to them, “Today as you listen, this Scripture has been fulfilled.”

When they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

He was teaching in their synagogues,  being praised  by everyone.

The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him, and unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written:

Then he said to them, “No doubt you will quote this proverb   to me: ‘Doctor, heal yourself. What we’ve heard that took place in Capernaum,   do here in your hometown also.’ ”
