And he sent yet a third, but they wounded this one too and threw him out.

Now  he began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard,   leased it to tenant farmers, and went away for a long time.

“That servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii.   , He grabbed him, started choking him, and said, ‘Pay what you owe! ’

and was a widow for eighty-four years.  She did not leave the temple, serving God night and day with fasting and prayers.

“ ‘A hundred measures of olive oil,’ he said. “ ‘Take your invoice,’ he told him, ‘sit down quickly, and write fifty.’

“The master praised the unrighteous manager   because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age   are more shrewd than the children of light   in dealing with their own people.
