And he told this parable:  “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it and found none.

You did not choose me, but I chose you.   I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask   the Father in my name,   he will give you.

But the fruit of the Spirit  is love,  joy,  peace, patience,  kindness,  goodness, faithfulness,

I planted you, a choice vine from the very best seed. How then could you turn into a degenerate, foreign vine?

Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit  , that is increasing to your account.

“I will gather them and bring them to an end.”  , This is the  Lord’s declaration. “There will be no grapes on the vine, no figs on the fig tree, and even the leaf will wither. Whatever I have given them will be lost to them.”

The ax is already at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as well.”

But the fig tree said to them, “Should I stop giving my sweetness and my good fruit, and rule over trees? ”
