And if it is by grace, then it is not now by works; otherwise grace is no longer free.

But, by the grace of God, I am what I am. And his grace in me has not been empty, since I have labored more abundantly than all of them. Yet it is not I, but the grace of God within me.

I do not reject the grace of God. For if justice is through the law, then Christ died in vain.

You are being emptied of Christ, you who are being justified by the law. You have fallen from grace.

And he saved us, not by works of justice that we had done, but, in accord with his mercy, by the washing of regeneration and by the renovation of the Holy Spirit,
