My eyesight has been clouded by indignation, and my limbs have been reduced, as if to nothing.

But you, Lord, are my supporter, my glory, and the one who raises up my head.

Many are the scourges of the sinner, but mercy will surround him that hopes in the Lord.

My heart is prepared, O God, my heart is prepared. I will sing, and I will compose a psalm.

For the people of Zion will live in Jerusalem. Bitterly, you will not weep. Mercifully, he will take pity on you. At the voice of your outcry, as soon as he hears, he will respond to you.

And then will I disclose to them: 'I have never known you. Depart from me, you workers of iniquity.'

And he will say to you: 'I do not know where you are from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity!'

It is Christ who, in the days of his flesh, with a strong cry and tears, offered prayers and supplications to the One who was able to save him from death, and who was heard because of his reverence.
