For the sins of the lips draw ruin to the evil. But the just shall escape from distress.

The mouth of the foolish is his destruction, and his own lips are the ruin of his soul.

And the entire people responded by saying, "May his blood be upon us and upon our children."

But because of the wrath of the enemies, I have delayed it. Otherwise, perhaps their enemies would be arrogant and would say: "Our exalted hand, and not the Lord, has done all these things."
