A stone is weighty, and sand is burdensome; but the wrath of the foolish is heavier than both.

Cursed be their fury, because it was obstinate, and their indignation, because it was harsh. I will divide them in Jacob, and I will scatter them in Israel.

Truly, anger condemns the foolish to death, and envy kills the petty.

The senseless immediately reveals his anger. But whoever ignores injuries is clever.

It is more expedient to meet a bear robbed of her young, than the foolish trusting in his own folly.

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth: an outsider, and not your own lips.
