From that time, Jesus began to reveal to his disciples that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem, and to suffer much from the elders and the scribes and the leaders of the priests, and to be killed, and to rise again on the third day.

These were the leaders of the priests and of their brothers, in the days of Jeshua.

And he began to teach them that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, and by the high priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

But I say to you, that Elijah also has arrived, (and they have done to him whatever they wanted) just as it has been written about him."

But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

And he said to them: "For so it is written, and so it was necessary, for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead on the third day,

And they spoke of his departure, which he would accomplish at Jerusalem.
