Thickness has covered his face, and lard hangs down from his sides.

Do not hand over to beasts the souls that confess to you; and do not forget the souls of your poor until the end.

And when he had presented the gifts to him, he followed out his companions, who had arrived with him.

And so, they struck down the Moabites at that time, about ten thousand, all strong and robust men. None of them were able to escape.

Why have you kicked away my victims and my gifts, which I instructed to be offered in the temple? And why have you given more honor to your sons than to me, so that you eat the first-fruits of every sacrifice of my people Israel?
