Whoever speaks from himself seeks his own glory. But whoever seeks the glory of him who sent him, this one is true, and injustice is not in him.

Just as whoever eats too much honey, it is not good for him, so also whoever is an investigator of what is majestic will be overwhelmed by glory.

But he said, "Why are you jealous on my behalf? Who decides that any of the people may prophesy and that God may give to them his Spirit?"

Therefore, you shall pray in this way: Our Father, who is in heaven: May your name be kept holy.

Then, upon hearing this, Jesus said to them: "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it."

Father, glorify your name!" And then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again."

For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

I do not accept glory from men.

Jesus responded: "If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me. And you say about him that he is your God.

Nor did we seek the glory of men, neither from you, nor from others.

When anyone speaks, it should be like words of God. When anyone ministers, it should be from the virtue that God provides, so that in all things God may be honored through Jesus Christ. To him is glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

If you know that he is just, then know, too, that all who do what is just are born of him.
