Amen, amen, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies,
If its roots grow old in the earth, and its trunk passes into dust,
I considered, so that I might know this. It is a hardship before me,
But grain for bread must be crushed. Truly, the thresher cannot thresh it unceasingly, and the cartwheel can neither disrupt it, nor break it with its surface.
For Christ died and rose again for this purpose: that he might be the ruler of both the dead and the living.
