I will be left to decay like something rotten and like a garment that is being eaten by moths.

I have said to decay and to worms: "You are my father, my mother, and my sister."

My eyesight has been clouded by indignation, and my limbs have been reduced, as if to nothing.

Since my flesh has been consumed, my bone adheres to my skin, and only my lips have been left around my teeth.

And I will be enveloped again with my skin, and in my flesh I will see my God.

Let mercy forget him. His charm is worms. Let him not be remembered, but instead be broken like an unfruitful tree.

yet you would plunge me in filth, and my own garments would abhor me.

From the sole of the foot, even to the top of the head, there is no soundness within. Wounds and bruises and swelling sores: these are not bandaged, nor treated with medicine, nor soothed with oil.

Your arrogance has been dragged down to Hell. Your body has fallen dead. The moths will be strewn beneath you, and the worms will be your covering.

And they will go out, and they will view the carcasses of the men who have transgressed against me. Their worm will not die, and their fire will not be extinguished. And they will be a sight to all flesh even unto revulsion.

And there you shall remember your ways and all your wickedness, by which you have been defiled. And you will be displeased with yourselves in your own sight, over all your evil deeds which you did.

And immediately, an Angel of the Lord struck him down, because he had not given honor to God. And having been consumed by worms, he expired.
