All darkness has been hidden in his secrecy. A fire that has not been set will devour him; he will be thrown down and forsaken in his tabernacle.

He will not withdraw from the darkness; the flame will burn up his branches, and he will be defeated by the breath of his own mouth.

They will encounter darkness in the daytime, and they will grope at midday just as in the night.

Behold, he who guards Israel will neither sleep, nor slumber.

He has hoped in the Lord, let him rescue him. Let him save him because he chooses him.

But the sons of the kingdom shall be cast into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
