O Lord, incline your ear and listen. O Lord, open your eyes and see. And hear all the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to blaspheme the living God.

Incline your ear, and listen. Open your eyes, O Lord, and see. And hear all the words of Sennacherib, who sent so that he might reproach the living God before us.

For you are my God. Let your eyes be open, I beg you, and let your ears be attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.

Also, my eyes will be open, and my ears will be attentive, to the prayer of him who shall pray in this place.

He will not take his eyes away from the just, and he continually establishes kings on their throne, and they are exalted.

Alleluia. All nations, praise the Lord. All peoples, praise him.

The sorrows of Hell encompassed me, and the snares of death intercepted me.

Give your judgment, O God, to the king, and your justice to the king's son, to judge your people with justice and your poor with judgment.

But I will announce it in every age. I will sing to the God of Jacob.

It extended its new branches even to the sea, and its new seedlings even to the river.

Perhaps, somehow, the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of the Assyrians, his lord, has sent to blaspheme the living God, and will rebuke the words that the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, lift up your prayers on behalf of the remnant which has been left behind."

For the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and his ears are with their prayers, but the countenance of the Lord is upon those who do evil.
