And you shall know that I, the Lord, have heard all your disgraces, which you have spoken about the mountains of Israel, saying: 'They are deserted. They have been given to us to devour.'

It extended its new branches even to the sea, and its new seedlings even to the river.

For God loves mercy and truth. The Lord will give grace and glory.

All whom they have found, they have devoured. And their enemies have said: 'We have not sinned. For it is they who have sinned against the Lord, the beauty of justice, and against the Lord, the hope of their fathers.'

And you rose up against me with your mouth, and you disparaged against me with your words. I have heard.

I will hand you over to everlasting desolations, and your cities will not be inhabited. And you shall know that I am the Lord God.

Thus says the Lord God: Because the enemy has said about you: 'It is well! The everlasting heights have been given to us as an inheritance!'

And the slain will fall in your midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord.

But you shall not show disdain for the day of your brother in the day of his sojourn. And you shall not rejoice over the sons of Judah in the day of their perdition. And you shall not magnify your mouth in the day of anguish.

I have heard about the disgrace of Moab and the blasphemies of the sons of Ammon, by which they have defamed my people and have been magnified beyond their borders.
