And so, she wrote letters in the name of Ahab, and she sealed these with his ring. And she sent to those greater by birth, and to the nobles who were in his city and living with Naboth.

And now they are not content to oppress us with a very difficult servitude, but attributing the strength of their hands to the power of their idols,

My days have been swifter than a messenger; they have fled and have not seen goodness.

And his word is filled with authority. Neither is anyone able to say to him: "Why are you acting this way?"

A multitude of camels will inundate you: the dromedaries from Midian and Ephah. All those from Sheba will arrive, carrying gold and frankincense, and announcing praise to the Lord.

How can you say: 'I have not been polluted. I have not walked after Baal?' Consider your ways in the steep valley. Acknowledge what you have done, so that you may be like a swift runner, following his course.

And with you, I will strike together the horse and his rider; and with you, I will strike together the chariot and its rider.

I, Nebuchadnezzar, was content in my house and prospering in my palace.

Now, therefore, O king, confirm this judgment and write the decree, so that what is established by the Medes and Persians may not be altered, nor will any man be allowed to transgress it."
