Then, by the king's command, Daniel was dressed with purple, and a chain of gold was placed around his neck, and it was proclaimed of him that he held power as the third in the kingdom.

And so Daniel excelled above all the leaders and governors, because a greater spirit of God was in him.

Brothers, certainly the will of my heart, and my prayer to God, is for them unto salvation.

For he who serves Christ in this, pleases God and is proven before men.

But all of Israel and Judah loved David. For he entered and departed before them.

"Do not be afraid. For the hand of my father, Saul, will not find you. And you shall reign over Israel. And I will be second to you. And even my father knows this."
