Luke 13:23

Then sayde one vnto hym: Lorde, are there fewe that be saued? And he sayde vnto them:

Because, strayte is the gate, and narowe is the way, which leadeth vnto lyfe, and fewe there be that fynde it.

For many be called, but fewe are chosen.

So the last, shalbe the first, & the first [shalbe] last: For many be called, but fewe [be] chosen.

When the disciples hearde this, they were exceadyngly amazed, saying: who then can be saued?

And he went through all cities and townes, teachyng, and iourneying towardes Hierusalem.

Stryue to enter in at the strayte gate: for many I say vnto you, wyll seke to enter in, and shall not be able.
