And so it was, that as he was praying in a certaine place, when he ceassed, one of his disciples sayde vnto hym: Lord teache vs to pray, as Iohn also taught his disciples.

But ye dearely beloued, edifie your selues in your most holy fayth, praying in the holy ghost,

And it came to passe in those dayes, yt he wet out into a mountayne to pray, & continued all nyght in prayer to God.

And it came to passe, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with hym, and he asked them, saying: Who say the people that I am?

And when the Lorde sawe her, he had compassion on her, and sayde vnto her: Weepe not.

And Iohn called vnto hym two of his disciples, and sent them to Iesus, saying: Art thou he that shoulde come, or shall we loke for another?

Ueryly one is needefull. Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

And he said vnto them, When ye pray, say: O our father which art in heauen, halowed be thy name, thy kyngdome come, thy wyll be fulfylled, euen in earth also, as it is in heauen.
