He then went up into the mountain and summoned those He wanted to come to Him and they came.
Seeing the large crowds, Jesus went up in a mountain [i.e., probably a hill near Capernaum] and when He sat down, His disciples came to Him.
He appointed twelve apostles to travel with Him, whom He could send out to preach
Then Jesus called to Him the twelve apostles and sent them out two by two. He gave them authority over evil spirits
Jesus then called the twelve apostles together and gave them power and authority over all evil spirits and [the ability] to heal diseases.
Then Jesus went up to a high plateau [Note: This place, northeast of Lake Galilee, is called “The Golan Heights,” today] and sat down there with His disciples.
