Therefore, Jesus said to the twelve apostles, “Do you not want to go [with me] either?”
Now the names of the twelve apostles were: First, Simon, also called Peter, Andrew, his brother, James and John, sons of Zebedee,
and Jesus and His disciples had been invited to it also.
But one of the twelve apostles, named Thomas, [and also] called “The Twin,” was not with them when Jesus came.
Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose [all] twelve of you, and one of you is a devil?” [Note: The word “devil” means “adversary” or “opponent”].
