and He did not need anyone to tell Him about mankind, for He Himself knew what was in the hearts of mankind.

For Jesus knew who would betray Him; that is why He said, “Not every one of you is [spiritually] clean.”

Knowing what they were thinking, Jesus said, “Why are you having such evil thoughts in your minds?
