‘I am the God of your forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.’ Moses shook with fear, not [even] wanting to look [at the bush].

‘I am Abraham’s God, and Isaac’s God and Jacob’s God.’ [So], He is not God to those who are [physically] dead, but [He is] God to those who are [still] alive.”

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as [though I were] dead. And He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last,

No one was able to answer [Jesus’ reasoning] with [so much as] a word, and no one dared to ask Him any more questions from that day onward.

Moses marveled at the sight [of the burning bush] and, as he went to look at it more closely, the voice of the Lord spoke out,
