On the fourteenth day of this month at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time; according to all its statutes and ordinances you shall keep it.”

Then they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth day of the second month. And the priests and the Levites were ashamed of themselves, and consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings to the house of the Lord.

For the king and his officials and all the assembly in Jerusalem had decided to celebrate the Passover in the second month, [Num 9:10, 11]

Josiah celebrated the Passover to the Lord in Jerusalem; they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth day of the first month.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,

The Lord’s Passover is on the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight.

“The sons of Israel are to keep the Passover at its appointed time.

So Moses told the Israelites to observe the Passover.

Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer over and over since the foundation of the world; but now once for all at the consummation of the ages He has appeared and been publicly manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
