Then these [unbelieving people] will go away into eternal (unending) punishment, but those who are righteous and in right standing with God [will go, by His remarkable grace] into eternal (unending) life.” [Dan 12:2]

Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

So He said, “A nobleman went to a distant country to obtain for himself a kingdom, and [then] to return.

[The king ended by saying,] ‘But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them, bring them here and kill them in my presence.’ ”

For Christ must reign [as King] until He has put all His enemies under His feet. [Ps 110:1]

But about the Son [the Father says to Him], “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of [absolute] righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom.

who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God [that is, the place of honor and authority], with [all] angels and authorities and powers made subservient to Him.

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, “KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.” [Deut 10:17]
