Mark 9:1

And Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste (experience) death before they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.”

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

And at that time the sign of the Son of Man [coming in His glory] will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth [and especially Israel] will mourn [regretting their rebellion and rejection of the Messiah], and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory [in brilliance and splendor]. [Dan 7:13; Rev 1:7]

“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory and majesty and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. [Rev 20:4-6]

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory [in royal majesty and splendor]. [Dan 7:13, 14]

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this generation [the people living when these signs and events begin] will not pass away until all these things take place.

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).

for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”

that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

But I tell you truthfully, there are some among those standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

So this word went out among the brothers that this disciple (John) was not going to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not going to die, but only, “If I want him to stay alive until I come [again], what is that to you?”

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while [by taking on the limitations of humanity], crowned with glory and honor because of His suffering of death, so that by the grace of God [extended to sinners] He might experience death for [the sins of] everyone.
