Now Hiram the king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees, carpenters, and stonemasons; and they built a house (palace) for David.

Until I find a place for the Lord, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob (Israel).” [Acts 7:46]

When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

The one who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he [made a profit and] gained five more.

who found favor (grace, spiritual blessing) in the sight of God and asked that he might [be allowed to] find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob. [2 Sam 7:8-16; Ps 132:1-5]

The Lord gave them rest [from conflict] on every side, in accordance with everything that He had sworn to their fathers, and not one of all their enemies stood before them [in battle]; the Lord handed over all their enemies to them.

A long time after that, when the Lord had given Israel rest from all their enemies on every side, and Joshua had grown old and advanced in years,
