When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were struck down [in defeat].

Then the Levites—Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah—said, “Stand up and bless (praise, honor) the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting. May Your glorious name be blessed And exalted above all blessing and praise.”

Who can put into words the mighty deeds of the Lord? Or who can proclaim all His praise [that is due Him]?

I will lift up the cup of salvation And call on the name of the Lord.

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call on the name of the Lord.

Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call on Him as long as I live.

Then I called on the name of the Lord: “O Lord, please save my life!”

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; And I am saved from my enemies. [Rev 5:12]

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him And saved him from all his troubles.

Call on Me in the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall honor and glorify Me.”
