Psalm 78:53

And He led them on safely and in confident trust, so that they feared not; but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. [Exod. 14:27, 28.]

But shook off and overthrew Pharaoh and his host into the Red Sea, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;

Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.

The Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!

You [Lord] blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; [clad in mail] they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

So Moses listened to and heeded the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he had said.

[Urged on] by faith the people crossed the Red Sea as [though] on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do the same thing they were swallowed up [by the sea]. [Exod. 14:21-31.]
