Amram's wife was Jochebed daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron, Moses, and Miriam their sister.
Amram took Jochebed his father's sister as wife, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and Amram lived 137 years.
You shall not have intercourse with your father's sister; she is your father's near kinswoman.
And his sister [Miriam] stood some distance away to learn what would be done to him.
