Genesis 5:3

When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, after his image; and he named him Seth.

And Adam's wife again became pregnant, and she bore a son and called his name Seth. For God, she said, has appointed for me another child instead of Abel, for Cain slew him.

He created them male and female and blessed them and named them [both] Adam [Man] at the time they were created.

After he had Seth, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? No one! [Isa. 1:18; I John 1:7.]

How then can man be justified and righteous before God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be pure and clean? [Ps. 130:3; 143:2.]

Behold, I was brought forth in [a state of] iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me [and I too am sinful]. [John 3:6; Rom. 5:12; Eph. 2:3.]

Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God. [Exod. 40:34; Isa. 7:14.]

The son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech,

What is born of [from] the flesh is flesh [of the physical is physical]; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned.

For all flesh is not the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for beasts, another for birds, and another for fish.

And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.

Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God's] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.
