I have seen slaves on horses, and princes walking like slaves on the earth.

The king went forth with all the people after him, and halted at the last house.

Let royal apparel be brought which the king has worn and the horse which the king has ridden, and a royal crown be set on his head.

Luxury is not fitting for a [self-confident] fool–much less for a slave to rule over princes.

Under a servant when he reigns, a [empty-headed] fool when he is filled with food,
