For who is God but the Lord? And who is a Rock except our God?

God is my strong Fortress; He guides the blameless in His way and sets him free.

The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me, When one rules over men righteously, ruling in the fear of God,

My Steadfast Love and my Fortress, my High Tower and my Deliverer, my Shield and He in Whom I trust and take refuge, Who subdues my people under me.

Yes, You are my Rock and my Fortress; therefore for Your name's sake lead me and guide me.

He is the Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are law and justice. A God of faithfulness without breach or deviation, just and right is He.

There is none holy like the Lord, there is none besides You; there is no Rock like our God.

Saul and his men went to seek him. And David was told; so he went down to the rock in the Wilderness of Maon and stayed. When Saul heard that, he pursued David in the Wilderness of Maon.

Then Saul took 3,000 chosen men out of all Israel and went to seek David and his men among the Rocks of the Wild Goats.
