But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword [of God's destructive judgments], and they shall die in ignorance of true knowledge.

But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with them, for what their hands have done shall be done to them.

Surely now they shall say, We have no [actual] king because we fear not the Lord; and as for the king, what can he do for us?

The Lord shall bring you and your king whom you have set over you to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall [be forced to] serve other gods, of wood and stone. [Fulfilled in II Kings 17:4, 6; 24:12, 14; 25:7, 11; Dan. 6:11, 12.]

And if you forget the Lord your God and walk after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

If you transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, if you serve other gods and bow down to them, then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land He has given you.

If you forsake the Lord and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you harm and consume you, after having done you good.
