And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

For thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

In that day shall the branch of Jehovah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

His mouth is most sweet;\par\tab Yea, he is altogether lovely.\par\tab This is my beloved, and this is my friend,\par\tab O daughters of Jerusalem.\par

Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south;\par\tab Blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out.\par\tab Let my beloved come into his garden,\par\tab And eat his precious fruits.\par

Stay ye me with raisins, refresh me with apples;\par\tab For I am sick from love.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High\par\tab Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

For who in the skies can be compared unto Jehovah?\par\tab Who among the sons of the mighty is like unto Jehovah,

The mandrakes give forth fragrance;\par\tab And at our doors are all manner of precious fruits, new and old,\par\tab Which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.\par

Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon;\par\tab He let out the vineyard unto keepers;\par\tab Every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand {\i pieces} of silver.

My vineyard, which is mine, is before me:\par\tab Thou, O Solomon, shalt have the thousand,\par\tab And those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred.\par

The vine is withered, and the fig-tree languisheth; the pomegranate-tree, the palm-tree also, and the apple-tree, even all the trees of the field are withered: for joy is withered away from the sons of men.\par

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one,\par\tab Thy glory and thy majesty.
