Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, {\i even} Jesus;

to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ {\i that are} at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.\par

For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained {\i to be} conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren:

And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more {\i than others}? do not even the Gentiles the same?

Salute Rufus the chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.

Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints that are with them.
