Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.\par

not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;\par\tab And he that ruleth his spirit, than he that taketh a city.

{\b But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.}

Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the {\i powers} that be are ordained of God.
