Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, {\b I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.}

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not; for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith Jehovah; but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.\par
the {\b blind receive their sight,} and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the {\b poor have good tidings preached to them.}
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;
Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and {\i that} there be no divisions among you; but {\i that} ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one {\i of them} said that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
All the brethren of the poor do hate him:\par\tab How much more do his friends go far from him!\par\tab He pursueth {\i them with} words, {\i but} they are gone.
