or, {\b Who shall descend into the abyss?} (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)
Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, {\i even} our Lord Jesus,
and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
who is on the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.\par
Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.\par
And they entreated him that he would not command them to depart into the abyss.
