Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

O generation, see ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? or a land of thick darkness? wherefore say my people, We are broken loose; we will come no more unto thee?

Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I send? who is blind as he that is at peace {\i with me}, and blind as Jehovah's servant?

Lest I be full, and deny {\i thee}, and say, Who is Jehovah?\par\tab Or lest I be poor, and steal,\par\tab And use profanely the name of my God.\par

So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
