Thou hast abhorred the covenant of thy servant:\par\tab Thou hast profaned his crown {\i by casting it} to the ground.
The crown is fallen from our head:\par\tab Woe unto us! for we have sinned.
They have set thy sanctuary on fire;\par\tab They have profaned the dwelling-place of thy name {\i by casting it} to the ground.
Jesus answered and said unto him, {\cf6 What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt understand hereafter.}
Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel a reviling.\par
And the high fortress of thy walls hath he brought down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.\par

I said in my haste,\par\tab All men are liars.
Thou hast made his brightness to cease,\par\tab And cast his throne down to the ground.
And I said, This is my infirmity;\par\tab {\i But I will remember} the years of the right hand of the Most High.
Thou makest us to turn back from the adversary;\par\tab And they that hate us take spoil for themselves.
Thou hast showed thy people hard things:\par\tab Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.
