Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in lovingkindness.
And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, {\i I say}, did he make alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;
Pardon, I pray thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy lovingkindness, and according as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
In those days, and in that time, saith Jehovah, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I leave as a remnant.\par
But he, being merciful, forgave {\i their} iniquity, and destroyed {\i them} not:\par\tab Yea, many a time turned he his anger away,\par\tab And did not stir up all his wrath.
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, the God of heaven, given me; and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
